Clambake in Scarborough

Place is huge! Went with a group of 20 people and not 1 complaint. Would def recommend to anybody in the area.

Went to pick up food and a young girl was laying over the counter and didn't even realized that we had walked up. Not very hygienic with everything going on. Food was good 👍.

Very busy place, the seafood was excellent,and the price was right! The only thing bad I can say is if your paying $17 for chicken I want fresh chicken not frozen tenders for kids!!!

I tried to apply at the clam bake and they hung up on me after i told them my name. I enjoyed eating there as a kid and have been wanting to work there for 2 years. Very unprofessional and rude for them to hang up on me when i was simply asking if they would hire me.

Seafood plate was delicious. We were a party of 5. Got a burger for dad. Got chicken for the kids. Plenty of delicious food. Only be careful they do not put out wet floor signs and do not care if you fall. One of our party fell and we took her to the hospital. The owner was only concerned with her language after she fell not if she hurt herself and said they would be in contact. They have yet to call. They also mentioned they may not pay for the hospital visit it was up to there insurance.

Gokd seafood. Clam strips are excellent. Captains platter will feed a couple people.

Great Maine seafood. Ordered a Captain's today...every bite perfect...and enough to share or enjoy leftovers tomorrow. Now open Thursday through Sunday 11-8. I would recommend to anyone who is ready for a wonderful seafood dinner in Pine Point, ME.

The clam chowder is excellent . You can tell its homemade. I appreciate it the service was fast and friendly.

Great Lobster but the suse is not as I expected, good service, easy to find the location, can eat outside, the parking lot is big. I think will come back again.

Love this place. Their take out routine is very efficient and the turn around time is less then ten minutes.

The food was bland. we ordered a Lobster, Shrimp and Scallop meal and it was tough, flavorless and overpriced. The sides also lacked flavor and overall nothing seemed to be seasoned in any way. This restaurant is set up like a fast food restaurant, so if you want fast, mediocre seafood it is an alright pick. Otherwise you might as well go to Hanafords.

Food was good. Would have given a 4 but they were not calling all the numbers and I waited for nothing

Always great selections of sea food and hamburgers. I've been going here for over 30 years and always come back. Highly recommended. Casual dress.

If I could give higher than a 5star I would. They have amazing customer service, the manager (I wish I would have gotten her name) was fantastic. We got cold food, I went to talk to her and she was right on top of it!!! She got us all new food and it came out piping hot and delicious!!! Very good experience!

The best seafood place there is. Tonight was just like old times, having to eat outside. We haven't done that since the 70's.

If i could rate this place with less then 1 star i would! 20 dollars for the smallest lobster roll I have ever seen. I ordered a hot lobster roll with butter it was cold and had mayonnaise. I proceeded to go back, after 30 seconds i received another lobster roll also still cold an no butter. I will never come back again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff was very friendly and the portion size was a good amount for the price. Best seafood we tried around there, we’re from Ny so this was our last dinner before returning home.

Nice place to eat! Good bunch of Hole Clams and enough frys to feed two people. So when ordering prepare for a lot of frys! Yes Your welcome! I have been going to your place for 30 years now! Each time I am in Old orchard Beach area! Way back when it was a take out mostly! Been a few years that I have been in the area and to my surprise you guy just keep getting bigger and better! Was a disappointed considering all the good reviews I saw. Serving sizes are a bit inconsistent, one friend got a large portion of fried fish while my girlfriend and I got the shrimp and crab rolls, which were just single slice of toast folded in half with a couple scoops of unseasoned meat. Not really worth the price, if I knew it was gonna be that small I would've just gotten a burger. Clam chowder was also watery. I know that traditional clam chowder is suppose to be thin, but it really felt like I was just drinking warm milk with bits of clam and potato. Staff was fine and professional but I really just wasn't satisfied with the food.

Food was good, but i missed the personal touch of having wait staff. Also, a worker mopped a small portion of the floor, near us, as we were eating, and we smelled chlorine. However, the place was big, roomy, and very clean.

Have only been during the pandemic but the outdoor seating is a great option. It's covered and the view is pretty out back. The portion sizes are big and we have enjoyed the food. The scallops weren't my husband's favorite. The onion rings have a nice flaky and thin batter.

Some employees wore masks that did not cover their noses. Won't be going back until pandemic is over.

The food was so... Good! We shared the captain's platter that consisted of fried shrimp, haddock, scallops, clams, with french fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. The establishment was clean and tidy with the Covid-19 standards of social distancing.

Generous portions, delicious fried seafood, huge amount if seating, what's not to love?

The clambake has always been our families go to place for seafood since I was little. Over the years they have changed a lot and not all for the better. The last 5 years or so we have been going elsewhere for the simple fact that the food quality and price had gone way downhill. In desperate times calls for desperate measures as our favorite place was just too busy and we had a car full of groceries. Came here for pickup and honestly I'm not surprised, but disappointed. Seafood is overcooked and the portion is not like it use to be. The piece of fish was no bigger than my palm and the bread is hard as a rock. Not worth the 30 it is. Next time, I'll just go to a burger joint.

Delicious variety and combinations of seafood dishes in large portions and tasty side dishes you can share at reasonable prices with a great scenic view from the porch to enhance your dining pleasure. Not fast food but ordering is you order from the menu, pick up your order and seat yourself. This place is popular and there could be a line, it does move quickly and efficiently. Full Bar available as well

I've been going here for 50 plus years and it's still as good as the first time. People say it's a tourist trap, but when they open in March, there's 200 locals waiting

Awesome food. A business ran the right way. They use the right technology coupled with great customer service for an exceptional customer experience. Had the haddock, it was delicious.

My family went here when I was a kid. I went back for the first time in decades. The food is just as good as I remember. And this time, I was more than old enough to have a glass of wine with my meal.
